This beautiful bell shaped tape measure is a Colonial reproduction !  By gently turning the top stem of the bell you can rewind the 24" tape measure inside.  Stands approximately 2.5 inches tall.

Made of Pacific Yew wood.  Pacific Yew is an even-grained wood with a very fine texture.  Bright orange to rose-red heartwood and light yellow sapwood.The bark of Pacific yew contains a drug, taxol, that is being used in cancer research, so demand for yew bark by the National Cancer Institute has increased dramatically in recent years.
